Features:

Montevideo:

Uruguay has many features and there will be plenty to do durring your stay there. You probably want to start out in Montevideo, the capital and largest city in the country. This seaside city is full of entertainment and clubs, malls, and beaches that are perfect for spending the day in the sun. Some of its many attractions are The Punta Carretas Shopping, La Rambla (which is the sidewalk that runs along the beach and is used by many in their daily comutes), and theaters such as El Teatro Solis:

Another stop you should make while in Montevideo is the Centenario stadium. Built in 1930, it hosted the first FIFA world Cup in which the home team beat Argentina 4:2.

Punta Del este

The next stop on your tour of uruguay will be Punta del Este. A small and friendly resort city , its has some of the most beautiful beaches in Uruguay and is alive wiht tourist durring the summer months. It has been considered one of the top vacation spots in South America and is host to many casinos and night clubs where the rich and famous spend their time. Besides the night life you can also find plenty of relaxing things to do, whether it be relaxing on the many beaches or going to an island by boat to spend the day eatig on a secluded beach. IF you're thing is shopping then you'll have plenty to do while in Punta del Este, it is home to many botiques and designer stores. All in all Punta del este is a must when traveling to Uruguay.

Tacuarembo:

If beaches, shopping, and clubbing aren't your thing then maybe you should opt to go to Tacuarembo. Its in the northern part of Uruguay and is mainly land for ranching . Here you can ride horses, cut wood, and get in touch with nature. It's a rustic place with friendly people and plenty to do. Make sure to stop by Tacuarembo to see a side of Uruguay that you just dont get anywhere esle!

Colonia:

The last stop on your trip is Colonia, a small area to the west of Montevideo, it was where the first settlers established a town. It is the historic part of Uruguay and was home to bullfights and other typical events of the time. Things to do while there would be just walking through the streets and looking at the architecture of the old buildings or eating at one of its many restaurants.
